Lady Vipers Lacrosse was well represented by Senior Sierra Yoder when she received the Second to None award on the 10th Annual Valor Day at Vandegrift High School on April 18th, 2019.  Valor Day was first inaugurated on April 21, 2010 to honor the school’s namesake, US Marine Corps 1st Lt. Matthew Ryan Vandegrift, for his sacrifice and service to our country.  April 21st was the day he was killed in Iraq, 4 days after his 28th birthday.  Second to None recipients who exemplify Lt. Vandegrift’s character, honor and service are nominated by their peers from each school program.
