Established in 2012, Lady Vipers Lacrosse is the club team for Vandegrift High School Girls Lacrosse and Lady Vipers Youth Lacrosse. We are governed locally by the Central District arm of the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League (TGHSLL). Our high school team became a Division I team in 2016 following a growth in number of players for both Varsity and JV teams. We are proud of our players and coaches, having had a very competitive program which delivers strong results with each succeeding year.
Previous Season Highlights:
Lady Vipers Lacrosse HS athletes play Fall & Spring seasons unless involved in Fall VHS UIL Sports, Band or Cheer.
Players are encouraged to play the entire year with Fall training with varied play dates followed by Spring league play. They are also highly encouraged to participate in Summer / Fall lacrosse camps & travel teams. Information for camps and clinics may be found here.
Practices start September 11th! We will be alternating between Cedar Park High School & Monroe Stadium, Vandegrift High School based on field availability. Check the Calendar for all scheduled events.
Conditioning workouts (required for Varsity, optional for JV) at Forward Motion located on Jester Blvd to be determined. One or 2 tournaments are generally played.
Practices increase to 3-4 times a week. Season games start in late January or February, including out of town tournaments for Varsity. We invite alumni to play a game against current players in December. At the last game of the season in April, we honor our Senior graduates on Senior Night.
